ASTM D882: Standard Test Method for Tensile Properties of Thin Plastic Sheeting

This standard test method measures the tensile properties of plastic films. Test conditions are specified for both, temperature as well as humidity. Cutting of the specimens from the material delivered for testing is one of the critical issues of this test procedure as any irregularity does impact the test results.
