Custom test procedures

We love to learn more about your special test needs.

EndoLab® has decades of experience with custom test procedures. We develop test protocols based on literature analysis, as well as on our own database. Test setups are realized by up to date 3D CAD software (CATIA), high precision measurement equipment and our own software development. Our accredited quality system according to ISO 17025 guarantees valid and reproducible test results for your benefit.

A number of EndoLab® test procedures have been adapted by international standards, such as ASTM and ISO.

Example 1

Tribological loading of cartilage (TEMPs)

Example 2

Multiaxial stent testing

Example 3

Total hip replacement adverse conditions

Example 4

Ceramic cage testing

Static and fatigue testing of cages is performed according to ASTM F2077. For standard materials such as metal or PEEK, load blocks are manufactured by multipass milling with a small radius cutter. Due to the brittle behavior of ceramics, small geometrical deviations at the edges of the load block do generate high contact stresses.

Endolab® has developed an additive manufacturing method that does generate high precision load blocks meeting the material requirements given by ASTM F2033.
