In general, non-active surgical implants are used for osteosynthesis and corrective surgery. As part of the preclinical evaluation under ISO 14630, static and dynamic load tests must be carried out following recognized test standards. These standards cover screws, plates, intramedullary devices, staples, cables, and many more. For new or special features of the implant, such as bioresorbable materials, we develop adaptations to the existing test procedures or completely new test methods.
