ASTM F3090: Standard Test Method for Fatigue Testing of Acetabular Devices for Total Hip Replacement

This test method evaluates the fatigue strength of metallic acetabular shells with hemispheric outer surfaces. It is also applicable to monoblock shells but is not intended to evaluate the strength of pre-mounted liners.
