ASTM F3067: Standard Guide for Radial Loading of Balloon-Expandable and Self-Expanding Vascular Stents

This test aims to determine the load and deformation characteristics of the stent while a circumferentially uniform radial load is applied. The test is performed using a radial force compression station with an iris. The stent is inserted into the test machine, and the force acting on the stent during the closing and opening of the iris is recorded.
